If your windows VM keeps shutting down it is because the windows trial license is not activated.  This can be done very easily.  

The first time you log into your VM you will see this screen:  

(If you clicked cancel already simply go to the start menu then right click Computer -> Properties and scroll to the bottom -> Change Product Key)





Simply click activate now.

You will then be brought to this screen.  Click Activate Windows Online Now:





Once complete you will see:
